The cuvée
Vent d'Est got for the vintages 1999, 2000 and 2001 one "Coup de
Coeur" (the highest rating), two ratings of 3 stars and one of 2
stars. The 1996 vintage received a "Coup de Coeur" and the jury
noted "the deep purple colour and the complexity of the bouquet
which blended rasberries, blueberries, cocoa and pepper. The taste
was a marvellous follow-through of the bouquet with a very long
final note of conserved fruit and liquorice.

Jean-Pierre Coffe (a food and wine critic) recently wrote in
"Mes Vins Préférés" :
" The cuvée Requieu is so very easy to drink that one easily
forgets that one should not partake too much of such a good thing
.... However when you discover the cuvée Vent d'Est you will feel as
if you have arrived in a paradise".
